Our Story
Drawn Somewhere began quietly — long before it had a name. Since 2011, artist Rebekah MacKay has been creating murals, live paintings, and custom works that blur the line between fine art and everyday life. What started as small doodles and one-off commissions has grown into a studio devoted to illustrating life itself — its moments, its places, its stories.
Officially shaped and shared from Paris in 2025, Drawn Somewhere exists alongside Rebekah’s fine art practice as a space for collaboration and connection — a place where art becomes part of daily experience. The studio’s work spans custom illustrations, signage, invitations, murals, and creative activations, all made by hand and rooted in storytelling.
With a BFA in Illustration and an early career creating bespoke artwork for Ralph Lauren, Rebekah’s background bridges fine art, design, and commercial work. Drawn Somewhere carries that same intention — to make art accessible and alive again, not distant or rarefied. Through workshops, live painting, and custom collaborations, the studio invites people — artists and “non-artists” alike — to reconnect with creativity as something human, tactile, and beautifully imperfect.
